Activities for Children at the Islands of Loreto

Members and guests staying at Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto can relax knowing that their children are having fun in a safe environment. Not only does the Islands of Loreto offer family-friendly events, but they cater to children from the moment they check-in. The lobby has a check-in desk just for children with a kids-oriented check-in form that asks children their favorite movie, sport, candy and hobby so the Activities staff can best provide them with a fun vacation. Children are provided with an in-room camping kit, all restaurants have a Kid’s Menu and customized child amenities are available for special celebrations such as a child’s birthday.

On top of all these fun perks that children receive, Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto has a Kids Club that offers a variety of activities daily from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm for kids 4 to 12 years old. The Kids Club is free for all members and guests.

Kids Club Activities include cooking classes, beach sport games, golf classes, sand castle making, fishing classes on the shore, nature-oriented survival classes, piñata making, building and flying your own kite, traditional Mexican handcraft jewelry making, traditional Mexican toys, skits, arts and crafts, and more. Certified childcare staffs are always present in the Kids Club and are dedicated to making your child’s vacation one they’ll never forget!

In addition to the Kids Club, the resort offers theme nights and live entertainment in the evenings to provide shows that the whole family is sure to bond over. Near the resort there are a variety of activities that the whole family will enjoy such as fishing, snorkeling, island hopping, whale watching, kayaking, and more.

Activities for the “Big Kids:” Complimentary activities take place at the main lower pool and beach area daily. Activities include beach and water volleyball, pool games, water aerobics, basketball, bingo, dance classes, Spanish lessons, cooking classes, and volleyball.
