“Our niece was at Villa Del Arco when the Hurricane hit Cabo. She said that the resort was so prepared it was like they built that resort with the preparedness plan in mind. She said there was not anything more the staff there could have done for everyone staying at the resort than they already had in dealing with the Hurricane before and after. “We just arrived in the US after having been evacuated from Cabo after Hurricane Odile. The devastation in the entire region is numbing. Villa del Arco survived almost unscathed and in the days following the event one could hardly tell anything had occurred…except that we were on e-power and dined with the staff (at no charge) for all our meals. Although many had damage or lost their homes, the staff was always gracious, friendly and patient with the guests. After several days, the decision to evacuate Cabo of all tourists was made. Again, the staff were extremely helpful and patient. The return to the airport was eye opening and depressing. We will be sure to go back to Villa del Arco to enjoy the full services that this wonderful resort has to offer, but more importantly to reconnect with those locals who made a tryingly epic experience not just tolerable but even pleasant.”

It would be unfair to try to single out team members by name for fear of missing someone, many of whom suffered great personal losses at home. May God bless each and every one of them!
