Fun Activities at Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta

Visiting Puerto Vallarta is a fun and relaxing vacation experience that is sure to help you unwind while you take in the beautiful landscapes in the heart of charming Vallarta. Recently, I visited Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta and enjoyed the beautiful views of the Banderas Bay with the fun activities offered at the resort. Please read along for highlights of the activities that I participated in during this trip.

Massage at the Bay Breeze Spa: In my opinion, no vacation is complete without a relaxing massage in paradise. I received a Swedish Massage on the beach that smoothed all of my muscle tension away as I listened to the peaceful sounds of the waves and wind in the background.

Pool Time: Soak up the sun in a lounge chair with your favorite snack or drink in hand. My poolside favorites here are always a fresh plate of fruit paired with a pina colada as they are delicious and offer a taste of the local area.

Pool Volleyball: Bump, set and spike your way through a refreshing pool workout as you meet new friends and have some fun in the sun.

Beach Relaxation: With the waves lapping in the background, the wind gently blowing and the sun shining down on me I enjoyed a peaceful walk on the beach looking out over the bay. Walking on the beach is always the perfect way for me to relax and take in the beauty of my surroundings.

Water Aerobics: I got my groove on with high-energy music as the activities team led us in a series of low-impact exercises. This was a fun way to stay in shape during vacation and the upbeat ambience of the class allows everyone to laugh and meet new friends while staying cool in the pool.

Mexican Fiesta Theme Night: I savored a delicious Mexican food buffet while watching the Activities Team perform dances from all over Mexico. I particularly enjoyed the opening mariachi band as I felt this set the mood for the evening and had the audience dancing in their seats. This was an entertaining way to spend the evening and see dance styles from the different regions of Mexico.

Here is a video of the opening mariachi performance:

Karaoke Night: Sing your heart out and watch others belt the lyrics to their favorite tunes at this fun karaoke party at Jalisco Sports Bar where you can unwind and end the day with a sing-a-along smile.

Live Music at El Patron: During dinner time an acoustic guitarist played relaxing music to set the ambience for the evening. El Patron served an exclusive barbeque menu paired with a salad, in which the server came around to each table and freshly prepared the salad in front of everyone, customizing it to each individual’s desires. The presentation of the food along with the live music made this a lovely dining experience.

Special dinner this evening to accompany the live music.
Salad station. Loved this fun presentation!

Member’s Cocktail Party: Be welcomed to paradise with two free cocktails and horderves while having the opportunity to win raffle prizes, meet resort executives and mingle with other members. This is a fun way to feel connected with your Club while kicking off your week in paradise.

Chicken Broth Xochitl Style Soup at The Market: This is my favorite dish that I always look forward to eating here as it tastes so fresh and healthy. Plus, the veggies rejuvenate my energy levels so I am not depleted after a long day in the sun. A must-try on your next trip to Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta!

My visit to Puerto Vallarta  was a relaxing experience filled with many fun activities. The resort staff does a wonderful job at keeping all members and guests engaged in activities that fit their interests. If you want to have fun and enjoy the beautiful coastal views while being in a vibrant city, Puerto Vallarta is the ideal destination to do so.
