Dear Friends of Villa del Palmar Flamingos,

We have been owners since 1996. We upgraded in Cabo in 2003 and currently own 3 weeks.  This year we decided to go to the Flamingos resort in Nuevo Vallarta for the first time. This was truly the BEST vacation we have ever experienced. This even topped our cruise to Alaska, which was epic.

First and foremost, we felt extremely safe with the precautions they have in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19.  We actually felt we were safer than in the [United] States.

The resort is very well maintained and meticulously kept up.

But honestly, what makes for a fabulous vacation are the people that work at the resort. We cannot point to only a handful of staff members because we found that ALL staff members were dedicated to ensuring we had the perfect experience.

Of course, there are a few that stand out, like Sarah, the Club Manager, who took care of me when one of my veneer teeth broke off. She not only recommended a dentist but also made the appointment. The dentist was incredible, and my tooth was fixed immediately.

Josephina, our cleaning person, was beyond sweet and gracious, and I only wish I got to know the woman’s name who did our nightly turn-down service.  She was fabulous as well.

We moved around a lot between the beach area and the pool, so we were waited on by several people, who were all very accommodating.

Reggie was very helpful, always making sure we had whatever we needed. I lost an item in the sand, and the man that rakes the beach every morning took his rake and went back to the area that I was sitting the day before and raked again. And the “above and beyond” great service stories can go on and on.

Cynthia, with her bubbling personality, led to great pool-time activities. Really, they all were great!

We usually do not indulge in spa treatments but did this time and will definitely do it again. The spa at Flamingos is absolutely luxurious, and they pamper you beyond belief. My husband and I indulged in 50-minute massages. But the pampering did not end there. We were given the most delicious tea and were taken to a gloriously, peaceful area that included lounges, a whirlpool, and a small cooling-off pool. Staff continued to make sure all of our needs were met.

Thank you again for our fabulous vacation. You all made us feel like family. We cannot wait to return to the Flamingos resort.

    If you never left Flamingos and you didnt venture out to PVR, Bucerias, La Cruz, Sayulita, Punta de Mita, and San Poncho; you missed so much fun, good food, friendly locals, colorful towns, and delightful Mexican culture.

    Amazing Update and Thank you for the Jan 2021 update!!! We are scheduled for the Penthouse FEB 8 thru Feb 13 as a special event for our honeymoon and my fathers 79th birthday. The information provided has eased our concerns and the actions to ensure a Covid 19 test 72 hours prior to leaving was very important.
